Cards and jewerly

Here we have to examples of re using pappers and plastic containers with the help of some stamp also!
The shaker card with the snowman we use a plastic container were a sweetner came, some old pappers or scrap, I cut it and paste it and then stamp on it.  In the shaker we also use for snow the foam protective material that comes with some gadgets.
The 3 wise man card, was painted using the background of the scrap papper and then we recreate like a desert scene and stamp the wise man on it.
This are some exaqmples using scrap pappers and the bubbles were the left over part of another proyect that instead of throwing it away we paint them to give them dimesions.  All this card were made with scrap papper pasted over propaganda fliers and brochure that we receive in the door!

This is an explosion box made from some acuarela pappers, I was practising and it went wrong, because this pappers are strong, they are great for boxes! I stamp them and varnish them so the drawing didn't dominate the scenario.  I use a ribbon that came with something we bought and that is all!!!

I love doing jewerly, and I made this from leftover metal wire from a jewrly workshop...I only put on the beads and it is done!

More crafts for you

Here I have made something from boxes, tape rollers and chip can.

This one is a box we made from an acuerala or watercolor pages ( a bad painting).  We made the box and then we painted with a pearlescent acrylic paint and put a dried flower some an arrange I have brought and a ribbon form an old chocolate gift I had.

This xmas card we made it from old pappers a plastic little box from a sweetner we bough.

Put it together and it will be a shaker card, the snow is made from foam, of something we have at home...

This one is a birthday card for a friend.  We draw the bottle in the back of a plain copy papper that went wrong, then we paint it.  In the backgroung we  stamp happy birtday several time and then we painted also.
A very nice and unique card.

The background was made from a copy papper that went wrong also.  It is stamped and painted, then I aplied again some stamnp with gold embossing powder.  I have left over from another work I did, and I used it in this cardthen wrapped the ribbon add a picture and that is all!

This is a card holder made form a box and stamped and painted.

The bangles were made from an empty tape roll and the other 2 the wider and the reddish from an empty chip container.  I have been using them several times now and they havent suffer any damage at all!

Ways of using papers (fliers, newspapers, leaflets, old magazines etc.

Hello everyone how are you today?  Hope that fine like me!
In my opinion, papier mache (mache paper, papel mache) is one source of using all those leaflets, newspaper magazine around the home.  All can be use in this technique, I must say that some fliers with heavy gsm (weight of the paper describe in grams per square meters or pounds) that are very good for card making, one way I use to find out is the weight is right, I shake it and you can feel how heavy it is, if they are heavy you can use them like paper card if you like doing cards or like a base; it depends what kind of craft you do...some can be use to cut out forms and using them with papier mache, or you can also use it for doing templates.
I usually use to make my own templates broad carton that comes with food or thing you buy.  Do you know who expensive template are?  You can craete your own templates and with this cartons they can be used over and over again!
Were can you find templates, maybe of figures you alredy have in magazine, and old card.
In past day I buy a fountain card kit, it cost me less than 0.90 pence, why I buy for...instead of using it right away, I make a template with a strong cardboard I have leftover from a cooking kit, and copy the card to it, so from now on I can use it over and over again.  I have seen the templates of this types of cards or kits and they cost 5 times more of what cost me.
Also you can find books with many templates in your local library...it will only take you one day of work passing and doing several templates in leftover cardboards and you will no need to buy them.  In this days I saw 3 xmas templates that cost over £17.00!!! So you will help the enviroment by using cardboards and also saving a lot of money too!
Magazine papers are wonderful for making beads of papier mache, you can make your own jewelry, necklace, bracelet, earrings and they will be done the stile you like it!  I was in a recycle shop this past weekend, and I saw them, the price for this jewelry went from £6.00 to £20.00...so aren't we saving money or not!!!

I am doing to projects a bangle and a mail stand with this technique, as soon they are done I will show them. Also I want to do a magazine stand.  Papier mache takes a little of time because it have to be dry enough to continue.

Also I will describe the technique and the how to, so everyone can make them.
If you live in Abingdon or near, I will be given a totally free course of how to soon!

Hope that you will be interest in it
have a nice day and see you all later!!!

PROYECTS FOR ALL

Here you can see the pictures of my latest project, all done from thing I recycle around my home.
Hope you like them...I will be posting also hope to make them so everyone can make them also.
For some you will need the usual tools, like scissors, glue, some brush, container, paint, some kind of varnish other s a little more...but the real thing is that we can crafts and we don't need to spend lot of money to do it.
I also buy many of my materials in cheap store, (those stores that see very cheap everything!). Some materials are good enough, some other s aren't, but we learn experimenting with whom...I could also give you some tips.

Here is a necklace and a pair of earring g done of one necklace I had and never used it, so i change it and also could make a pair of earring  to match instead of throwing it away.  ( wouldn't throw it. maybe take it to a charity shop).  For this you will need some pliers, I make my own jewelry that is why I have spare wire of different size leftovers and I used them to create this!

In this one I use the negative of a bulb card I was making, because I don't like to waste anything, before making the embossing I use a normal paper (that was already used) and painted with a glowing color and left it dry, so when the embossing was finish, I could use the negative also!  In the picture I haven't a sentiment because I am waiting something is wast for it!

Every picture her are use with material that would have been wasted or thrown away.
You can save money doing little thing and also help the environment.

INTRODUCTION

Hello everyone!
hope that every one of you are having a great day!
This is a little introduction about what I want to achieve here...
I love my planet and I want to preserve it healthy, so I have been doing a lot of recycling and cutting my carbon footprints.
I am an artist, and I have been several ways we can recycle so much things by converting it in other things!!! and not only we are helping our planet our home, we can save money and also sell the things we make.
yes, we may need to buy something but you can do so many thing and something is true, more you make more your brain work and more new things you will be doing.
I am also open to ideas, and to share all ideas..
I would be making some projects here that will vary in many ways, many techniques, many different thing I want to cover all I can, so you can take what you wish.
Soon enough I will be demonstrating here what can we do, what technique we can use and you are free to use it, to post it, or do what you want...many will be very saving money ideas...have that in mind...
I will begin with small things and I also can answer some question you have...
See you very very soon!!!
With great recycling ideas for all, but for the best of our beautiful world!!!
