Plant container refurbished?

Hello!
how are you?
With so many things I am quite busy!
But always time to re update something like this plant container for the bathroom.
I had used for a Journal some Graphic 45 pages and always are leftovers; so instead of throwing them away (waste of money) I have a special box for those.
When I am doing a new project the first thing I do is look my special box  and sometimes the only thing I need is scissors and glue!
And forgot to tell you also decide to renew my bathroom clock with the same color pages only add a little of antique gold wax to it.  Now they coordinated!
Hope you enjoy it as I did.

Decide to cover the bathroom clock also! Only add gold wax.

Recycled Plastic for Recycling Batteries! Wow!

post signatureWow, how many recycle was in that title jajajajajaj
Yes, I know please don't tell me.
But I have a big great excuse; for personal problem have to be travelling, so no much time to dedicate to my stuff that I call ART!

Well, this week I was trying something new.  I saw a project in the net about transforming plastic vitamin bottles for using them in Halloween, although we like doing very weird stuff, Halloween is not a thing that I like or do!  So I decide to =change the technique a little and do something I enjoy recycling!
I need a bin to put the use batteries in order to take them to a recycle center, so I use this technique for my bin.
Here is it
Lalala:
This is the front, I use the top of the bottle, it have a hole, so I can put through it the batteries.

To make it I use item that I had, the cats, keys and coffee cup top, are polymer clay, but that went terribly wrong (didn't bake okey), Instead of throwing them away I kept them and saw an use in this project.  The gears were leftover from a Steam Punk board theme as the bee. The only thing fresh that I use is the paint! Ja
Here is the How to...Have fun! And enjoy what your doing no matter what it is!!!

Re cycled Journal!

Hello everyone! How are you today?
Yes the weather isn't so good so I am back! Jajajaja
But I had being doing some stuff and learning so I can bring you something new!
Well I decide to make a totally up cycle or re cycled what ever you prefer.
I use all the waste, leftover, packaging I can find.
I usually cover all the pages from packaging with gesso before using them.
Here it is!

This is the cover of the Journal, the base is a cardboard from a box, all the embellishment, different gears and old clock were cut out from different types of packaging. If you want them to look thicker you cut 2 or 3 with the same die (I am using an electric cutter) and glue them together they look like chipboard.

This is the back of the from cover, just cover with gesso and stamp it.

Some pages in the interior. The quote is a left over from another project.

This one is paint stamp.

Te left page I use some paste with an stencil and cover from some tissue paper that came in a packaging. I did the same with the page to the right; this was the back cover of a paper pad. I stamp in tissue paper.

This background were done with towel paper, they are colourful because I use them to clean the mess while I was painting. I let it dry then peel them and use the more colourful side.  Then I cover them with a matte sealant wait it dries and stamp over it directly.

With this pages I did the same, I used some copy paper the I sometime put it for protection. I paint it a little more then crumpled it, open and pass it through my embossing machine so they go flat. The balloons I stamp over them usually waste paper cut them and glue them. The mountains and clouds also made from waste paper.

This is totally made from scrap papers from other project or cover from some paper pads.

The back cover of the journal, the same as the front.

This is a close up of this page that I use towel paper. It have so much colours and texture, I think it would be great using it in a mix media canvass .

This is the inner side of the back cover, done with a news paper and letter from left over and news paper.

Envelopes Journal Albums

Here are 2 journals made from envelopes and a craft magazine.
Some of tags were made from cardboard or packaging. Usually the stamp tags we love to use the shiny cardboard from tortillas! But you need to use permanent ink, they are very glossy! This one a call Dreams

The same principle for the second one. Is from a gardening craft magazine.

Board and Mixed Media

Wow, I had been doing stuff, but I dont know if its me or my camera the picture dont seems to come out as good they used!
Maybe is time for a course in digital photography Ja!
I have done some canvas and boards.
As soon I find the picture I took on how to make it I will be up loading them.
Any question you can e mail me!
This is a back of a board. Its all cover with the left over cut outs. That is why you can see the figure of a butterflies and flower

This is totally made with scrap and left overs papers, only the letters aren't scrap. The background was made with different scrap papers as the cups. And the base is a  cardboard from a  used box.
The wing as the body of the dragonfly is made with left overs papers and the body with old watch parts
Another canvas using recycled items.
This metal embellishment was broke in 2, here were paste together and glue to the canvas.
This flowers  were made from cardboard packaging, I cover them with cut out papers from Graphic 45  then emboss them.
The fairy was from a  bracelet charm that my neighbour was going to throw away  & I ask for it, I cut the loop out and used here. The dragonfly was made from a thin cardboard packaging that went through my Silhouette.
This is the back from the take life one cup at a time board,  using the leftover from my cut out.

This canvas was made using several techniques, but almost all the embellishment (gears) were made from cardboard of box & packaging s the corner .

Hope you enjoy!

Recycled Journal Pages

post signatureYes, I know I was going to keep on doing stuff...but then life come in!!!!
Hones, it is easier to be written than done jajajajaj...but I enjoy it!
Well I haven't been doing enough recycled stuff and spring   & summer is almost here and I am nore outside! OMGOSH! were did the winter went?
Well I have project on my mind, hope they come out! Jajajaj..
I am doing with a friend an exchange we decide instead of ATC do journal page so here are the one a did for here, using a lot of packaging and waste around the house! (Not organic that goes to me compost!)

Painted by hand, and using stamps. Also used pictures from other projects or magazines.
For some page I used recycled    paper I had left from other projects.

This is how it looks when the page is close.

Using a leftover 12x12 scrap book paper, then draw a little and stamp it to create a different look.

A little colourful zentagle technique

Words from magazine, as the picture, the butterflies wing from a leftover of another project. A little line with glitter.

A image from an old postcard, a packaging and cut words from an old scrapbook paper.

Is a very easy way to do a journal with packaging you need scissor glues, maybe glitter and markers to create a new stuff from old or waste.
Cutting flower shapes from magazine.
