Re Use Up Cycle Kitchen Jars!

Why buy mason jars? We can use the ones we have leftover from mayo, mustard etc.
Only download labels! Or design them yourself!
See the jars I upcycled reuse or recycle from my kitchen!
First clean the jar very ver well!!
Take out the label with warm soapy water  then I use a little of alcoohol (Do not do this in the kitchen, near fire or enclosed place, please be careful because alcoohol is very very flammable); rub it on the leftover glue.
When the jars are clean let them dry and apply the labels with a glue I used acrylic glue and I varnish the labels first to seal them, so this protect them from grease & water.

I design all to my taste! And also cover the tops! If you like the design you can download them from dowload page for free!

Coffee Recycling Center for my Kitchen! Graphic 45

Hello every one!
Sorry again for delay, but as usual I was away and having fun!
But time to get doing something!
I know there is a challenge from Graphic 45 and guest what? Yes
Is about re-use and recycling or up-cycling! And as you know I love that kind of challenges! Weeee!
If you have snails in your garden, one way to keep them far away is using coffee...yes the leftover coffee, but I needed a nice container to put the waste so when I have enough of it I use it in the garden around the places and plants that t he snail like most so they run away (to another garden) jajajaja....not nice.
I use coffee because it works, I don't have to buy harsh pesticide and waste money!
so here it is tara:
Hope you like it!
Yes we drink lots of coffee!

And only Volcanic Highlands Coffee!

The How too is here in this link:

Bible quotes Recycled Journal! Paper pad holder from Graphic 45! weee!

Looking for some quite and peaceful inspiration?
Here it is!
Wow Doing this Journal is something extra for me; had been reading the Bible for verse, switching my imagination and  had been feeling very peaceful and relax...
Well, let me tell you a history a friend and I decide to interchange a journal with inspirational quotes, and we though what better place to star with the Bible.
I must confess there is only 1 page by now that isn't re use or  up-cycle.

Done over a piece of cardboard from something  a cover it with a leftovers of craftpapapers, the doll dress is
made from Graphic 45   pieces and bits.  Nothing goes to the bin!
This page and the below is the reverse. I use a f/c paper that went wrong, paste over them some
leftovers papers and embellish.

The bird is from and old calendar, the words a leftover paper bits and paint a little
over it.

This one was made in plain paper I didn't re use anything. Of course the markers jajajaj

Using some packaging, I cover it with gesso, and draw and paint
the scene. Below is the reverse.

I cover t his side with a cover from a paper pad, the figures come from an
old calendar and magazine nad add bits from leftover papers.

Use packaging and painted with gesso, when it is really dry, then draw over it and painted.

Try to make it like a mixed media canvas, using a packaging, cover it with gesso
then adding some dimension with paste, some old book paper, draw a heart, use a embossing
powders and voila!

Cover the packaging with old book papers, applied gesso and draw.
Well here is the paper pas holder! I was so happy to find the right box for my 8x8 paper pads!
Its from a water jug but it did the work!
I cover it with Graphic 45, papers.

Using Bohemian Baazar from Graphic 45 I cover the box with it, using matte ModPodge.

This is the front.
Hope you enjoy...

Plant container refurbished?

Hello!
how are you?
With so many things I am quite busy!
But always time to re update something like this plant container for the bathroom.
I had used for a Journal some Graphic 45 pages and always are leftovers; so instead of throwing them away (waste of money) I have a special box for those.
When I am doing a new project the first thing I do is look my special box  and sometimes the only thing I need is scissors and glue!
And forgot to tell you also decide to renew my bathroom clock with the same color pages only add a little of antique gold wax to it.  Now they coordinated!
Hope you enjoy it as I did.

Decide to cover the bathroom clock also! Only add gold wax.

Recycled Plastic for Recycling Batteries! Wow!

post signatureWow, how many recycle was in that title jajajajajaj
Yes, I know please don't tell me.
But I have a big great excuse; for personal problem have to be travelling, so no much time to dedicate to my stuff that I call ART!

Well, this week I was trying something new.  I saw a project in the net about transforming plastic vitamin bottles for using them in Halloween, although we like doing very weird stuff, Halloween is not a thing that I like or do!  So I decide to =change the technique a little and do something I enjoy recycling!
I need a bin to put the use batteries in order to take them to a recycle center, so I use this technique for my bin.
Here is it
Lalala:
This is the front, I use the top of the bottle, it have a hole, so I can put through it the batteries.

To make it I use item that I had, the cats, keys and coffee cup top, are polymer clay, but that went terribly wrong (didn't bake okey), Instead of throwing them away I kept them and saw an use in this project.  The gears were leftover from a Steam Punk board theme as the bee. The only thing fresh that I use is the paint! Ja
Here is the How to...Have fun! And enjoy what your doing no matter what it is!!!

Re cycled Journal!

Hello everyone! How are you today?
Yes the weather isn't so good so I am back! Jajajaja
But I had being doing some stuff and learning so I can bring you something new!
Well I decide to make a totally up cycle or re cycled what ever you prefer.
I use all the waste, leftover, packaging I can find.
I usually cover all the pages from packaging with gesso before using them.
Here it is!

This is the cover of the Journal, the base is a cardboard from a box, all the embellishment, different gears and old clock were cut out from different types of packaging. If you want them to look thicker you cut 2 or 3 with the same die (I am using an electric cutter) and glue them together they look like chipboard.

This is the back of the from cover, just cover with gesso and stamp it.

Some pages in the interior. The quote is a left over from another project.

This one is paint stamp.

Te left page I use some paste with an stencil and cover from some tissue paper that came in a packaging. I did the same with the page to the right; this was the back cover of a paper pad. I stamp in tissue paper.

This background were done with towel paper, they are colourful because I use them to clean the mess while I was painting. I let it dry then peel them and use the more colourful side.  Then I cover them with a matte sealant wait it dries and stamp over it directly.

With this pages I did the same, I used some copy paper the I sometime put it for protection. I paint it a little more then crumpled it, open and pass it through my embossing machine so they go flat. The balloons I stamp over them usually waste paper cut them and glue them. The mountains and clouds also made from waste paper.

This is totally made from scrap papers from other project or cover from some paper pads.

The back cover of the journal, the same as the front.

This is a close up of this page that I use towel paper. It have so much colours and texture, I think it would be great using it in a mix media canvass .

This is the inner side of the back cover, done with a news paper and letter from left over and news paper.
